In its ruling of October 31, 2019, the Court of Public and Administrative Law of the Canton of Vaud brings forth the significant public interest served by the construction of the Sur Grati wind-park due to its high energy input. The Court namely considered that the impacts on bird life were admissible in light of the mitigation and compensation measures provided. Furthermore, the Court deemed that the public interest to the construction of the wind-park prevailed over its significant impact on landscape.
